A one-day, practice-focused conference on inspiring positive, equitable, and caring masculinities. Amidst the backlash against progressive values, feminism and democracy, we gather to focus on solutions.
One day in Berlin — Saturday 21 November 2026.
Organised by
the possible manThe same week in Berlin: the conference runs alongside the German Federal Ministry’s conference on men’s policy — a good week to be in the city if this is your field.
Why this day
Amidst the backlash against progressive values, feminism and democracy, we gather to focus on solutions.
This is a day to swap what works, drawing participants from politics, academia, the field of men’s studies, and civil society organizations. In one place, talking plainly about methods, results and the parts that are still hard.
All participants are invited to share the methods and results that inspire their work.
We gather contributors across ages, genders, and social backgrounds to get a fuller picture.
The afternoon bar camp runs on topics attendees propose and vote for.

The afternoon
A bar camp is a session where the agenda is set on the day, by the people in the room. No fixed line-up. You bring the questions worth an hour of everyone’s time.
We set a few broad themes in advance. Attendees propose sessions under them, and a sticker vote at lunch decides which ones run.
Registration
Registration runs on an external platform. Your ticket includes bar camp theme selection, and the option to pitch a lightning talk or poster — slots are limited.

English throughout — panels, talks and bar camp. You don’t need German to take part.
Participants from politics, academia, the field of men’s studies, and civil society organizations: academics, politicians, practitioners, counsellors, group facilitators, and programme staff.
There’s an option during registration to propose a two-minute lightning talk or a poster. Slots are limited, so tell us early. We’ll confirm which pitches make the day closer to the event.
You choose bar camp themes when you register. On the day, anyone can pitch a session, and a sticker vote at lunch decides what runs in the afternoon. See how the bar camp works above.
The conference is organised by two organisations working in men’s mental health and men’s development: The Possible Man and PathForge.
Tickets can be refunded in full up to 30 days before the conference. After that, we can no longer refund, because catering and venue numbers are already committed — but you can transfer your ticket to a colleague free of charge at any time, right up to the day. Just write to us with their name. If we cancel or move the conference, you get a full refund.
A note on the law: under EU consumer rules, the usual 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to tickets for events held on a specific date, so this policy is our own commitment rather than a legal minimum. Ticketing, payments and invoicing are handled by pretix, a European (GDPR-compliant) ticketing platform, which issues your invoice and processes any refund back to your original payment method.
